Zimbabwean rising superstar, Brandon Mvura, is set to release a hot star packed album in April featuring regional superstars Diamond Platnumz and Zahara making him one of the few artists like Jah Prayzah and Ammara Brown who aim to claim a stake in the regional market.

The album entitled Oriental is already looking great with Mvura already having cooked a killer single hit with the My number One hit maker, Diamond Platnumz, entitled African Lady and is set for release later on this March.

The song was produced under Platnumz’s Wasafi Classic Company’ recording Company. This will be Platnumz second collaborative effort with a Zimbabwean Artist after having worked with Jah Prayzah.

“I will also be travelling to South Africa later on this month to record a song with Zahara called Wothando to make my album my greatest work yet”, the Zvishavane based jazz artist said.

The young singer marvelled at the prospect of working with Zahara calling her his inspiration and how he has always dreamt of pushing his music to a regional level.
Mvura added that he is very excited about his 6th album as it would earn him a spot amongst Zimbabwe’s top artists.

The album will also see Mvura working Idols South Africa season 11 finalist, Siphelele Ngcobo on a track called Inkomo Zamalobolo.

With such a calibre of artists on the Oriental album list, Mvuras album is one to look out for.

“Once my track with Diamond comes out I will be unveiling it to various radio stations as a way to market my upcoming album, and I would be lying when I tell you that I am not over the moon about this project my brother”, Mvura said.

The musical protégé comes from a family of musical geniuses and is a nephew to the Iconic Amon Mvula, but has however made a name for him bagging a lot of local provincial awards.

Some of his best singles include fan favourites Ndisiye Ndakadaro, Dai and Tsvarakadenga.

A list of his awards includes; Masvingo Music Awards best Roots Artists 2015 and 2016 and also Midlands Music Awards 2016.
